Project Overview

5^th June, we commemorated the Day of UN Peacekeepers with a zoom conference call. The hour session brought distinguished personalities in Peacekeeping in the Gambia and Europe as panelists and an audience of over 60 young people in the country and beyond. The discourse focused on the theme: Women in Peacekeeping: A Key to Peace.

The webinar which was aimed at looking at how women have been doing in peacekeeping missions, what is perception of ordinary Gambians about women in peacekeeping missions, gains registered and how do we can consolidate that.
